PRECINX®, the version of CCAP Precinct licensed to UrbanGrowth NSW, has been announced as one of the Top 10 finalists in the Urbanisation category of the GreenTec awards.

The GreenTec awards are Europe’s largest environmental and business awards, and take place every year. They provide a platform that puts environmental technologies and commitment in the spotlight. PRECINX® is the only Australian product represented amongst the finalists in the upcoming awards, which will take place in Berlin next May.

PRECINX® predicts the potential long-term environmental, social and financial impacts of various sized developments while still in the early design stage. It’ is currently licensed by most of Australia’s government land-use organisations and several of Australia’s largest private developers.

“Precinx has been a game changer for us. Its bought an evidence base to our strategic planning that we previously didn’t have,” “It’s fantastic that the transformative power of this software has been recognized on an international stage.” Steve Driscoll, Development Director, UrbanGrowth NSW.

“This nomination highlights the leadership that our city planners have shown by adopting a more evidence-based approach to planning” Bruce Taper, Director at Kinesis. “Precinx demonstrates how our decision makers are no longer leaving these critical development decisions to chance”.

The winner for each category will be drawn from the top three finalists, which be determined by a public vote. Starting from the 6th of November, all members of the public can start vote on the GreenTec Awards Website
